The Theremin Cafe

VRML "Theremin Cafe": Thereminist View.

The image you see above is the VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) model of a cafe that do exist in the real world. It's the place where Lydia had some rehearsal for the two concerts in Castelbianco.

We built this 3D model, long before the coming of Lydia, to help us in the design of the technology infrastructures of the cafe itself (it was conceived as a "telecafe", but it eventually became something different) and of the events that we planned to realize into it.

Then, after Lydia's concerts, we thought to use the model as an online virtual place where theremin people could meet and chat as virtual entities (avatars) graphically portrayed in 3D (at this point we added a Victor Theremin to the model). But we soon gave up this idea.

Nonetheless you can visit the Theremin Cafe in solitude (Cosmo Player plugin required). Have fun!
