FYI (sorry for the late notice):
I'll be performing (to the best of my ability) Martinu's 'Fantaisie' on Etherwave Theremin @ Noon on Saturday, Aug. 21st, 2010 (tomorrow, in other words...), as part of the Vivace Chamber Players' Summer Music Camp closing concert.
Performance is at Calvary Christian Assembly (nice venue for Theremin!), corner of Roosevelt Way NE and NE 68th, in North Seattle.
Chamber Recitals begin @ roughly 11:00 AM Saturday, a quick lunch-break, then the orchestra fires up @ 2:00.
Free admission, with some VERY fine young musicians (and one rather long-in-the-tooth one), playing quite a variety of interesting pieces.
Some of what's on tap for tomorrow's performance:
Chamber Ensembles:
Mozart Quintet (1/3)
Schubert Trout (1st movement)
Bartok Sonata (3rd)
Martinu Fantaisie
Two Guitars/Lullaby
Brahms Piano Quintet (1st)
Orchestra:
Haydn Symphony 100 (Military), 2nd movement (Allegretto)
Tchaikovsky Suite #4 (Mozartiana), movements 1 and 3
Ravel Mother Goose Suite, #5 (Enchanted Garden)
